1 folder ; 14 3/4" w x 9 5/8" h Folder 000154. Pieces 1551-1570 No pieces in the folder are numbered. There some several bills from Adam Wible, the blacksmith. There is an 1814 receipt from Charlotte Hall School for tuition for Levi Dent, whose father is John B. Dent. There are similar receipts for 1822 and 1824, but the children are not named. Mr. Dent bought lumber and agricultural implements from firms in Washington, D.C. and Alexandria, Va. A fire insurance policy was transferred to Ida Dent, J. Marshall's wife. In January, 1917, Ida and J. Marshall signed a promissory note to Elliott Dent for $1500 which they redeemed by the sale of land in 1919. A tax bill was presented to Ida in September 1918 and paid in August 1919.
