Folder 000099. Pieces 2121-2130 The pieces in this folder are about the guardianship of George and Lucy Lancaster by J. Marshall Dent. There are signed statements that each child received about $1500 as the final settlement of the parents' estate. Mr. Dent submitted accountings to the court. On a small piece of paper in extremely small writing is a draft of John F. Dent's will written when John Marshall and Fannie were his only surviving children. Dent's commission as a Lieutenant Colonel in the militia in 1855 is in this folder and the form naming him road commissioner for his district in 1881.
