James Waters, Jr. received title to land that was part of Mile's End, part of Dement's Enlargement, and part of Wilful Destruction combined into The Discovery in Charles County on December 2, 1808. Half of the seal remains; it was likely 4" in diameter and is attached to the document with a pink ribbon.
