1 folder ; 14 3/4" w x 9 5/8" h Folder 000097. Pieces 2161-2170. There is a resolution of the Parish Aid Society of All Saints Episcopal Church on the death of John F. Dent. He was held in very high esteem. There are certificates of confirmation for Catherine Dent and John B. Dent in 1823 at Trinity Parish Church in Charles County. There is a certificate of baptism for Robert Taney Beauregard Dent in 1862, son of John F. and Lilia Dent. This boy did not live to adulthood, to the great grief of his family. There are several lists of Dent birth dates, but only initials are used, not names. A small sheet discusses the origins of the Dents--Thomas Dent came from Geisboro or Giesford in Yorkshire, England. There is a copy of John Marshall Dent's fire insurance policy current to 1888.
