The material in this group of 15 folders was not filmed by the Archives. The folders are tied together with pink cord. There are several years worth of federal and state income tax returns from the 1930s and 1940s, advertising material of various types, correspondence between the home folks and Kate Dent when she had surgery in Baltimore in 1930, tax bills and fire insurance bills from 1923-1950, a contract for a house J. Marshall had built in 1925, one folder of obituaries for J. Marshall Dent, who died in 1929, and Joseph H. Dent, who died in the same year. One folder has an 1869 letter from the Padgett Co. to John F. Dent. There are a few documents relative to the division of the estate of William S. Blakistone.
