Description

Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of the basement of Blair's Purchase. Mr. Fenwick's text: "part of Bushwood Manor. Built circa 1750 and raised two full stories in 1918." This archway in the wall is four bricks deep. One can see the rubble and brick foundation and the underside of the wide floorboards. Shutters are stored in the archway and there is an old table in the foreground. ******************************************* Text on verso: "Picture 209. Blair's Purchase 1954" This photo was on page 71 of Binder 1.
