Boat show 1960-2Entry/Object ID
1995.001.1805Description
This is a photograph of the 1960 boat show at the Leonardtown Armory. Boats, outboard motors on stands, and piles of literature were all visible in the photo. William Chapman was seated on the gunwale of a runabout. Several lines of pennants attempted to liven the scene. A basketball net was on the far wall, as well as two large exhaust fans near the high ceiling. A ladder, presumably to allow opening and closing of the high windows, leaned against the block wall.
