This is a copy of the Our Father Who Art in Heaven, a book of stories built around the phrases of the Lord's prayer. It is bound in light brown cloth with an elaborate stamped design front and back based on small dots. Someone outlined the cross on the center front cover with a black pen. The title page is gone. The text that remains begins on page 5 and ends on page 98. Inside the front cover: Purple ink "Lillia Elizabeth Dent from Rev. Harry Fields Saumenig (?) __ All Saints P. E. Church St. Mary's Co. Maryland January 1895" then in parentheses "(When I was ill with diptheria) he came to me, and prayed by my bedside each day. I was 11 years old." then in a childish scrawl, much erased "My grandmother gave this book [to] me when I was 9 years old" then everything is erased.Collection
