1980.001.0002Description
This black and white photo of Brome's Wharf was taken on the bluff between the wharf and Trinity Church. It seemed to be a gloomy day. There were no leaves on the trees, but there was no ice in the river, either. A craft that looks a lot like a tugboat was at the end of the pier. There were many crates piled on the pier. There was a good-sized building tucked between the end of the pier and the bluff. A small boat was pulled up on the shore next to the building. There were four sailboats anchored out on the other side of the pier. There may have been a barn and silo on a distant bluff. There is a linen backing on the photo, so it may have been in an exhibit.Collection
