Description

This is an 10"h x 8"w black and white photo of Buck Briscoe and George P. Mahoney. Mr. Mahoney ran for public office on several occasions. In this photo, Buck is on the left in his signature hat and Mr. Mahoney is on the right. Buck has tight hold on Mahoney's hand and is speaking into a microphone, perhaps introducing Mahoney to the crowd. Mr. Mahoney inscribed the photo: "Buck I wish you good health and happiness George P. Mahoney." Scrawled on the bottom of the photo is something beginning with L and a second word beginning with D. Under that is "St. Mary's County Md." and "1973." There is some sort of large emblem behind the men, but their figures obscure it. ************************************************* Text on verso: in black stamp ink "Mr. Photo Mr. Photo Lexington Park, Md. 20653 301-862-2203"
