Description

This is a black and white portrait of Mr. Briscoe by Brian Leppin. It is an outdoor setting with the subject in front of a painted concrete block building. The head, in a partial profile, fills the frame . Mr. Briscoe is wearing his characteristic bright yellow St. Mary's County straw hat, a dark cardigan sweater, and a striped dress shirt with an open collar loosely captured by a patterned necktie. He is looking at the camera with no particular expression. There is a fly on the crown of the hat.
