This is an 8"h x 10"w black and white photo of Buck Briscoe with members of the staff at the Patuxent River Oyster Company in 1971. The group of four men and one woman are standing next to a small white building with the company name painted in large dark letters on the wall. Below the company name are two copies of the poster made by John Raley Garner for the annual Oyster Festival and a sign saying the 1971 oysters for President Nixon were supplied by Leonard Copsey. Another sign down on the buildings footing was likely the one to go up to the White House. A bushel of oysters and several cans of product were also on the footing. This picture was taken during the summer, I think; the woman had on a sleeveless top, the men had on short-sleeved shirts, and Buck wore his summer straw hat.
