3 1/8"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of Buena Vista in Leonardtown. The large two story house with clapboard siding appeared to be square. There was a lower two story addition to right of porch. The first floor open porch covered entire front of the main house. Two chimneys at the right end of the main house were within the structure and one chimney at the end of the addition was outside the structure. On the front elevation, there were three six over six double hung windows with shutters on the second floor. Only one window was visible on the first floor, but the arrangement had the door on the left and two windows on the right to accomodate the side hall floor plan. On the gable end, there were three windows on each floor, with an additional window in the peak. All the windows had shutters, except for the first floor back. Two dormers with six over six double hung windows were visible in the standing seam roof. The part of the addition that was visible had six over six windows on the second floor and a screened porch covering the entire first floor. The left second floor window had shutters, but the left one does not. The addition also had a standing seam roof.
