5"h x 7"w black and white photo of the buoy shed at the Point Lookout Light Station, a large gable-roofed industrial building with vertical wood siding much in need of paint. This view was of a gable end and one long side. The roof appeared to have asphalt shingles in poor repair. In the peak of the gable end was a light fixture. There were two large vertical louvers in the upper half of the gable. Power came to the building from an unseen source on the left and one large wire was tacked up across the gable end and seven-eighths of the way down the long side. About halfway down the left edge of the roof was a brick outside end chimney that pierced the roof's overhang. Another brick chimney was just visible at the far end of the roof. A four light window was near the first floor corner of the building. Six large panels went from the right side of the chimney to the near corner of the building. These may have been sheets of plywood that covered openings of long ago. On the long wall was a large dark opening that was probably 12-14 feet high. There were more covered places in the wall and then three tall windows followed by a new door near the far end. Some sort of antenna was on the far gable end. Next to the buoy shed was a two story building that looked like a house, although not much of it was visible. The ground on this side of the building was paved and had gratings over drainage troughs.
