Buoy shed at Point LookoutEntry/Object ID

5"h x 7"w black and white photo of the buoy shed at the Point Lookout Light Station, a large gable-roofed industrial building with vertical wood siding much in need of paint. This view was of a gable end and one long side. The roof appeared to have asphalt shingles in poor repair. About half way down the roof peak, a brick chimney was just visible. A tall pole supported by guy anchors stuck up above the far end of the roof. There may have been a large light on the pole. On the gable end there was a telephone junction box on the ground near the closest corner and there were two large power lines against the building about in line with the eaves. A large oil tank and two transformers were supported well above the ground, presumably for safety in high water. On the long wall, there was first another power line entering the building at about waist height, a double door with no windows, three tall windows, and a dark opening at the far end. The ground on this side of the building was paved, but small grassy areas were also visible. A brave tree was fighting for space among the transformers.
