Bushwood Manor house, river sideEntry/Object ID
1995.001.1756Description
Black and white photo of the river side of Bushwood Manor. The photographer was in the garden, shooting through foliage. Trees and plants obscured most of the building. Because the photo was overexposed, the roof was not visible. The wings on each side of the center portion of the house were set back a little. On the second floor, one window in the center portion was barely visible; a small window with shutters was visible on the right. On the first floor in the center portion, there was a porch with a hipped roof and very elaborate posts and railings. Windows with shutters were barely visible on each side of the porch. A woman in a light colored dress was seated on the edge of the porch. There were flower beds in the garden in the foreground.
