Description

3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w black and white photo of the Calvert family cemetery in Riverdale. There was a wrought iron fence around the space next to a clapboard church building. This image focuses on the two coffin graves in the enclosure: the tomb on the left is Rosalie Eugenia Stier Calvert and George Calvert's tomb is on the right. There were cartouches on each face of the tomb; I think there was lettering on the long side of the tomb. ********************************** Text on verso: in dark fountain pen "Tomb of Rosalie Eugenia Stier Calvert , Left Tomb of George Calvert, Right" and in blue stamp ink "663" and in brown stamp ink "J. C. Wilfong, Jr."
