Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of the front/back? of the house at Calvert's Rest near Ridge, Md. The two story house is brick below and clapboard above. A central door with a screened door is flanked by a 12 over 12 double hung window on each side. There are four brick posts that are meant to support a porch floor, but I don't think it is there. Three steps are in front of two of the posts. In the second story are four unevenly spaced four over four double hung windows. An addition to the house is barely visible on the left. There are no shutters on the house and it looks quite bald.
