5"h x 3 1/2"w black and white photo of Army National Guard Engineers wrestling with a long hose. The cannon was about 2/3 of the way out of the ground, with cable wrapped around it to keep it from slipping back as the crane lifted it free of the muck. There were a number of men and boys watching the operation.
