Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Cannough Neck near New Market. The two and a half story gable-roofed house appears to have asbestos shingles. On this gable end are two widely spaced chimneys that are straight on the inside and have shoulders on the outside. There is a sloped roof on the pent between them. There is a four light window in the attic between the chimneys. On the second floor there is a six over six window on the left side of the left chimney and another on the left side of the right chimney. On the first floor there is a window on the left side of the left chimney and a small six light window in the pent. The right chimney has been damaged somehow and has at least one layer of brick removed. On the left side of the house is a shed roof porch and on the right side of the house a shed roof addition. The door to the house is in that space.
