Car and gas pumpsEntry/Object ID
2005.003.0038Description
3 5/16"h x 2 5/16"w portrait orientation sepia tone photo of a car next to gas pumps. It may have been a coupe. It had two large headlights with a bar under them. There was bright chrome trim around the radiator. A license plate was in place with a white background and colored, illegible, numbers. It must have been early spring or a warm winter day; the trees had no suggestion of leaves. The pump closest to the rear of the car was dark colored and had a star on the logo on the top, perhaps a precursor of Texaco. The second pump was either white or shiny metallic, with Esso on the logo. I can't tell if the pumps were on school property or not.
