This brown sheet, which probably was cream colored in its early life, is a colored print of Jesus with sheep. He is carrying a sheep on one shoulder, in fact. He is in romantic mountains with grass for the sheep and more mountains in the distance. Jesus is in a red robe with a medium blue blanket over that and carries a staff. There is a thin gold "frame" around the print and then another 1/2" sepia tone "frame" with scrolls and crosses on the corners. In very tiny letters under the frame it says "Published by Fr. Pustet New York." The text in the remaining space says, "On the 27th of Jany 1876 Carrie Fenwick made her first confession in the Church of St. Aloysius', Leonard Town, St. Mary's Co., Md." The certificate was signed by Edward D. Boone, S.J. The verso is blank.Collection
