4"h x 2 3/8"w badly faded carte-de-visite of a seated woman in a very elaborate dress. Her left hand was at the top of a cane or umbrella and her left hand was on her right wrist. Her rather light hair was tight against her head, but then exploded into a riot of curls right on the top of her head. Because the photo is so faded, it is difficult to pick out clothing details. She definitely had a bustle and something frizzy along her shoulder seams. I think the dress was low cut.
