Black and white verging on sepia 3"h x 2 1/4"w photo of Carthagena in Drayden. This little photo shows a story and a half gable roofed house with one inside end chimney visible on the far gable end. There are two dormers without glazing. On the first floor, there is an off-center door opening, a nine over six window on the right and a similar window on the left. There is some sort of shed in front of the house, almost like a rabbit hutch.
Text on scrapbook page: "Carthagena, built by William Hebb in 1711, torn down in 1934. The bricks were used to build the fence in front of the State House at St. Mary's City. From old photos."
