Cat Creek 2Entry/Object ID
1995.001.2202Description
3 1/8"h x 3 7/8"w black and white photo of Cat Creek after rehabilitation. This elevation is the back of the building. It was two gabled roofed buildings joined by a hyphen. The smaller building, on the left, was at right angles to the larger building, so with the hyphen, the footprint was a U shape. On the gable end, which was full brick, there were two large chimneys with a very small pent in between. There were matching chimneys on the far end, as well. There was a four over four double hung window in the attic between the left chimney and the back roof. There were three gable roofed dormers with four over four double hung windows on the back roof. On the first floor of the gable end, there was a nine over six window between the back wall and the chimneys. A window screen was leaning against the back wall of the house. The long wall, which was white clapboard, had a center door, five steps above the ground, and one nine over six window on each side. There were two similar windows in the hyphen and two in the gable end of the smaller building. There was one more window up near the roof peak of that building.
