Description

3 5/8"h x 2 7/16"w tintype of Catherine Rebecca Dent, known as Kate. She had on a dark, possibly plaid dress with white ruffles at the wrist, white standup ruffles around her neck and a lace fichu. She wore a dark cross on the fichu. She had dark hair parted in the middle and pulled back and what used to be called "spit curls" on her forehead. Her right arm rested on the photographer's support and her hands were laced together. ************************************ Text on verso: white sticky label "K[sic]atherine Rebecca Dent wife of Jos.
