Cedar Point Lighthouse. Black and white print. View is from the water, probably looking south. I believe this is the north side of the house. Large two-tone two? story home with a gable roof and the light on one side of the roof. No chimney is visible. On the second floor are two windows on the visible gable end. Below is a three bay porch with pillars, a railing all around and a leanto roof. There is a ? bay porch on the opposite end of the house. There is one window visible on the first floor and another window that is probably on the stairway. The space under the left porch is open, but nothing is visible. There is a gable roof outbuilding on the right and what appears to be an outhouse next to it. On the left is a large three story tower with a hipped roof. On the third level of the tower on the side away from the house there is an open porch with some sort of vertical piece of equipment on it. There are two windows visible on the tower's bottom floor, possibly two on the second floor and one on the third floor. On the near side of the house roof is a large square structure with one visible window with shutters. On top of it is a square platform with a metal? fence to provide a railing. Above that is an eight-sided windowed structure capped by a circular roof with a ball on top, just like the Blakiston Light. The shoreline has a concrete and rock revetment. There is no vegetation and it is very stark.Collection
