Cedar Point Lighthouse. Color transparency. View is from the water, looking east. This is the west side of the house. Two and a half story home with a gable roof and the light on one side of the roof. No chimney is visible. On the visible gable end there are two window openings and it is possible to see all the way through the house. Below is a three bay porch with pillars, a brick railing all around and a leanto roof. There are three openings visible on the porch. The space under the porch is bricked in. On the left side of the house roof is a large square structure. On top of it is a square platform with a metal? fence to provide a railing. Above that is an open eight-sided structure capped by a circular roof with a ball on top, just like the Blakiston Light. There is a low rock breakwater and the remains of a pier. The house is in derelict condition and very stark.Collection
