Charles E. Fenwick Collection--Capper Group--Survey of Faunkirk, etc. for Thomas A. ReederEntry/Object ID
1995.001.1443Scope and Content
1 page ; 13 3/8"h x 16"w
This survey was presented to Mr. Fenwick by Meredith Capper. The documents were found in an old house on Capper land. The house has since been torn down. Mr. Fenwick's note says Amanda Floyd Dunbar later married David Tyler, so perhaps the Dunbars were associated with this land and house.
This survey was done by someone whose name I cannot read for Thomas A. Reeder to establish title to land devised to him by his uncle, Capt. Thomas A. Reeder. Part of Faunkirk, Bogue's Increase, and Washington Park were included. This property surrounds part of St. John's, held by Charles Norwich? The Part of Faunkirk on the left side of the survey is also called the Glebe Land.Collection
