Scope and Content

1 sheet ; 12 3/4" h x 7 1/2" w Mrs. Miles was seventy five years old when deposed. She recalled her father, Richard Miller, offering to assume the costs of a court case to eject Robert Dansey from land that seemingly belonged to John Shirtcliffe, the elder, if Shirtcliffe would promise to give the land to Richard Shirtcliffe, Miller's godson. Later, Shirtcliffe sold the rights to the land in question to James Boyd. There is a photocopy and an attempt at a transcription in the folder.
