Scope and Content

1 sheet ; 8 1/4" h x 7 3/8" w Thomas Payne was 65 years old at the time of the deposition. He said he was boy and man on the land with James Boyd as landlord. The land was called Broad Neck where James Manning's house now stands. Enoch Greenwell, aged 65, testified he was shown a house near Joe's Point that was called Dancie's Quarter and James Boyd lived on the land where Mr. Manning's house stands. It is a rather confusing deposition. There is a photocopy and an attempt at a transcription in the folder.
