Scope and Content

1 sheet ; 11" h x 14 7/8" w Mr. Delahy? did not state his competence to hear the case, but he was importuned by the claimants to give an opinion. Mr. Delahy regarded the case as extremely complicated, in part because the records of the land transfers were incomplete. He was inclined to believe that the warrant of resurvey that had been assigned by Butler to Dansey did not give Dansey ownership of the land because a resurvey certificate was not a grant. Mr. Delahy hoped for more information before rendering his final opinion. There is a photocopy and an attempt at a transcription in the folder.
