This small piece of paper was further folded in half horizontally. "Receipt of Thomas Lathrom" is on the outside panel.
Frances Hagen left a legacy to Winnafard [Winifred?] Spalding. Her then husband, Thomas Latharoum, acknowledged part payment of sixty dollars from Cornelius Manning in November 1813. He signed the receipt. There is a photocopy and an attempt at a transcription included in the folder.
