Scope and Content

1 sheet ; 25 1/4" x 14 13/16" This is an actual size photocopy of the patent for America Felix Secundus. Tudor Hall stands on a remnant of this large plantation. A handwritten version from 1744 is in the Board Room. An attempt at a transcription is included with this copy. Because the original document spent most of its life folded, it has three tears along a horizontal central fold that have resulted in some text loss. This is quite visible in the photocopy. ************************************* Text on verso: In pencil "11437 Sawyer 15 x 25 1/4 3R19 Ft. gl. wax and polish molding"
