This group includes two sheets of fairly heavy cream-colored paper with one photograph on each side of the page. They appear to have been removed from a larger work. There have been contests over the years in which countians were asked to bring in old photos--these may be part of that. Mrs. Vernon Hewitt of Valley Lee provided a photo of Bill Grund, age 6, trying to milk a cow in 1929 and another photo of Claude and Grace Vallandingham, Pauline Laura and a friend on a seaplane off Medley's Neck in 1924. The other sheet contained a 1910 photo of the courthouse with Judge Camalier and Enoch Abell in front provided by Ruth Mattingly. A photo provided by Marianna Schwien of Brandywine is of an Orange Crush Bottling Co. truck with Alyce E. Guy, Mary Agnes Guy and an unidentified friend on the running board. The truck is in front of the Guy Bros. store in Clements in 1929.Collection
