Copy of a letter purported to be written by Thomas Jefferson, letter of March 12, 1953 from the Manuscripts Division of the Library of Congress explaining that the letter was a facsimile, not an original. There is also a transcription of a page in a catalog of autographs for sale. The letter is not the same as the facsimile discussed above, but does mention a Mr. Fenwick. The letter could be had in 1970 for $1500.Collection
