The folder contains many booklets and press releases and handouts touting the virtues of St. Mary's County. Most of them were published by the St. Mary's County Development Committee. There are a couple of brief histories of the county, as well, and a photocopy of pertinent pages of the State Gazette for 1871. It lists the businessmen and principal farmers of the county and their locations.
