SURVEY BOOK B NOT MANY SUBJECT HEADINGS This book, a single entry ledger, has pale brown buckram covers. It has maroon corners, mostly worn away, on the upper and lower right of the front cover and the upper and lower left of the back covers. There is a stamped black design outlining the cover edges and a "chain" effect for a center ectangle. There is a 2 1/4" diagonal band with a stamped black sawtooth edge on the front cover. "Single entry Ledger" is stamped in the band. Only about one quarter of the buckram on the spine remains. 3 1/8" from the top of the front cover is a 1" letter B in faded blue ink. Directly under it is a small 2 in red ink. The publisher has put paper liners on the inside front cover and its facing page with helpful information like a list of U.S. presidents, poison antidotes, amount of seed required per acre, how to calculate interest, etc. Six pages are for the alphabetical index. The numbered pages begin with 1 and carry on to 188. There is a number 189, but it is on the protective page at the back of the book and has no hand written text. The are printed paper liners on the inside back cover as well.
