3 1/8"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of a dormitory? at Charlotte Hall School. This shot was of the center portion of a three story brick building with deep two story porch. The porch and the building under it were painted white. There were 10 columns supporting the porch roof. There was an elaborate railing all around the flat roof of the porch and a different railing around the lower porch floor. The entrance door with a broken pediment above was flanked by narrow windows. On the first floor, there were other entrance doors at each edge of the porch. There were five windows on the second floor. The building had a mansard roof, so there were dormers on the third floor. Two chimneys were visible at the edges of the porch roof. There was a flagpole in the foreground and the legs of the water tower were visible in the background. Because of some developing error, what appears to be the burning bush had settled on the ground near the flagpole.
