Description

These nine young men are the 1908 first form. Four boys stand in the back, three are seated in chairs, and two are sitting cross-legged on the ground. They are in a large field surrounded by a four-bar white fence. There are lots of daisies in the field. The uniform is a mandarin style jacket with dark bands on all the edges and the letters CHS on the stand-up collar. The trousers are the same color as the jacket and have a stripe along the outside seam. The boys are holding their hats and only one boy wears gloves. Some boys have low shoes and others have high shoes. There is an identity chart.
