Description

Fourteen young men of the 1910/1911 First Form are arranged in three tiers for this open-air photo. The front row of five young men is seated on a bench, five young men are standing behind and four people are standing on risers in back. All the young men are dressed in the school uniform: white trousers, white gloves, a mandarin style jacket with all edges banded in a darker material. The letters C H S are on each side of the stand-up collar. A high white collar is just visible under most of the jackets. All the men are bareheaded. A strip of paper on the bottom of the photo identifies the sitters and there is another list on the back.
