A photo assortment of two housemothers at Charlotte Hall Military Academy. One of the women is a Mrs. Howe, but we don't know which is which. Judging by the glasses, I think these photos were taken sometime in the 1960s. One woman has slightly graying har waved back off her face. Her glasses had patterned temples and were slightly horn rimmed. She wore screw back pearl earrings and a string of pearls that fit close around her neck. She had on a plain, I think double-knit, dress with a flat seamed yoke in front. She was probably well into her fifties in age. There is a group of four 1 3/4" x 2 7/8" photos, a 4" x 6" photo, and an 8" x 10" photo. The other woman had heavily waved hair held in place by a light weight hair net. Her glasses were dark with gold trim at the horns. She did not have on any jewelry except for a pin "CHMA." She wore a white high-necked blouse, very simple, with 1" or more plain white buttons. She appeared to be a no-nonsense person. The same selection of photos was made for her.
