Three rows of young men are arranged in front of a large pine tree. 9 young men are on a riser to form the back row, 8 young men are on the ground as the middle row, and 4 young men are seated in wooden chairs as the front row. All the young men are in plain uniforms. The jacket has a mandarin-style collar and there is dark contrasting trim on all the edges. The white pants have no decoration and seem to have very deep hems--perhaps to accomodate growing boys. The CHS insignia is on the standing collar of the jacket. All the young men wear gloves.
