Description

One 8"h x 10"w black and white photo of Charlotte Hall Military Academy students at the Washington Airport, later Reagan. The students are lined up under an Eastern Air Lines plane with two propeller driven engines. The pilot is pointing to something on the nose of the craft. A rolling ladder on the other side of the plane may have reached the cockpit. Eastern Air Lines' logo was on the nose and "Silver Fleet" was painted on the fuselage above the windows. A low white building behind the group is the airport building with a two level control tower on the top. There were striped awnings on all the windows of the first floor. In the lower right corner "74" is in white numerals. ********************************** Text on verso: none
