Three rows of young men are in front of a painted brick building with two shuttered windows visible. There are 6 young men in the back row, 7 young men in the middle row, and 4 young men seated in chairs in front. These are probably the officers for the form. The plain uniform is a dark jacket with dark contrasting trim at the edges and a stand-up collar. This is paired with light colored trousers, worn by most, and the more elaborate uniform jacket is paired with the same light trousers for 2 people. Some of the young people have the CHS insignia on the standup collar of the jacket. Three of the seated students have swords across their laps and sword belts visible. There may be "let-down" lines on some of the trousers. A cellar door is just visible in the lower left and there is a downspout on the corner of the building.Collection
