This is an enlarged copy of an old photograph. It shows a group of men and boys on a street in Leonardtown watching a demonstration of a chemical fire extinguisher. I believe the cloud from the extinguisher is barely visible on the right beyond a young man in knickers. Mr. Fenwick's notes says Harry Jones' store is in the background. The photo does not do justice to the subject--without Mr. Fenwick's notes on the verso, it would be difficult to know what it is about. ************************************** Notes on verso: " 1922 Trying out chemical fire extinguisher in Leonardtown Harry Jones' store in background Swayback Manor in left of picture I am in this picture Chas.
