This is an enlarged copy of an old photograph. This abandoned story and a half home is called Cherrylane. It has a gambrel shingled roof with three gable dormers at the curb, but the spacing of the dormers is not even. Each double hung window has six over six small lights. On the first floor, the two panel entry door with three lights in a transom window is on the left and there are two windows with shutters on the right. The windows appear to have six over six lights, but are larger overall than the windows above. The house is clapboard, with nearly all the paint worn away. A single story connector has been built to attach the story and a half outbuilding to the right, with a large outside end chimney, so it was probably the kitchen. It also has a shingled gambrel roof and appears to be in much better condition than the house. There is a door in the center of the side facing the camera. There is either a small low fence or the remains of a stock trough in front of the main house and to the right, nearly parallel with the chicken on the drive. A few tobacco plants are visible in the lower right.
