4"h x 5"w black and white photo of the Young home on White's Neck Creek. The main building is a five bay gable roof clapboard siding home with an outside end chimney on the right. The porch had a nearly flat roof with five attractive posts for support. The porch was three steps above the ground. Lattice work covered the space between the porch floor and the ground. A hammock was slung on the right. There was a narrow center entry door flanked by two windows with shutters on each side. On the left side of the building was an addition. A narrow door was all that was visible ; trees were in the way. This home burned in the early 1930s.
