Chimney of an unidentified houseEntry/Object ID
1995.001.2134Description
3 1/4"h x 3 1/4"w black and white photo of an immense chimney on an unidentified house. The note on the verso said the chimney was eighteen feet across. It was also extremely tall and had an elaborate corbel. It was on the gable end of a two story house with a two story porch on the left and a single story porch on the right. There was a toothed verge board on the visible eaves. On each side of the chimney stack on the second floor was a narrow four over four window. There were no other windows on the gable end. On the right was an oil tank leaning to one side, a washing machine, and possibly an icebox. A man was sitting on the end of the porch on the left.
