5"h x 3 1/2"w black and white photo of Christ Church, Chaptico. The brick church had a gable roof that may have been metal. Its large square brick tower was in the middle of the gable end of the building. The tower had large round arch openings on three sides for access to the church. Above those arches were round arch windows on the two visible sides of the tower. The window visible on the left had ca. twenty lights above and twelve lights below. The window on the front of the tower was a large arch formed by a pair of windows that had maybe twenty lights above and twelve below. The windows did appear to be double hung. There was a clock on each of the two visible faces of the tower that may have been in line with the roof peak of the church. The tower was capped with large dentil molding and a six sided bell tower was on top. The bell tower was capped with a "witches hat" roof. There were five rounded arch windows on the long wall of the church and one more smaller rounded arch window on the gable end.
